Call and Response
Call and Response is a feature-length “rockumentary” about the growing phenomenon that is modern day slavery. It combines interviews with notable anti-slavery experts with undercover footage from brick kilns and brothels with performances from critically acclaimed musicians. Humanity United provides support to develop the Call and Response Web site and activism initiative.

Carr Center for Human Rights Policy, Harvard University
Carr Center is committed to making human rights principles central to the formulation of good public policy in the United States and throughout the world. Humanity United partnered with the Center on the Mass Atrocity Response Operations Project, which aims to equip the United States, other states, and regional and international organizations to respond effectively to genocide and mass atrocity when directed by national leadership.

Carter Center: Liberia Program
Carter Center currently works to strengthen the post-conflict rule of law in Liberia, and partners with grassroots civil society organizations to educate citizens and increase access to justice in underserved rural communities. Humanity United helped to expand the program’s successful initiative and increase rural access to legal support services.

Center for Global Nonkilling (CGNK)
CGNK was originally established as the Center for Global Nonviolence (CGNV), which facilitates research, education and training, and problem-solving leadership for non-violent global transformation. Humanity United supported the development of a strategic plan to create CGNK and identify niche areas of work.

Center for International Conflict Resolution (CICR), Columbia University
CICR seeks to gain greater understanding of the contributing factors and potential approaches to deadly conflict. Humanity United supported a series of genocide-prevention and conflict-resolution training sessions for mid-level diplomats from around the world.

Child Soldiers Initiative
The Child Soldiers Initiative is building a collaborative and inclusive approach to eradicating the use of child soldiers. Humanity United supports the development of a “tool kit” that would detail the concepts, methods, and processes for facilitating collaboration in order to eliminate the use of child soldiers.

Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking (CAST)
CAST assists persons trafficked for forced labor and slavery-like practices and works to end all instances of such human-rights violations. CAST’s programs range from direct victim services to policy advocacy. Humanity United provides core support to CAST.
