"Darfur Now" National College Tour
STAND, a nationwide, student-led division of the Genocide Intervention Network, and Participant Productions organized a national college tour around the documentary Darfur Now. Humanity United helped support the tour to create awareness about issues raised in the film and to promote STAND in college communities.

Darfur/Darfur
Darfur/Darfur is an 18-month traveling exhibit of digitally projected images that provide visual education about the richly multi-cultural region of Darfur while exposing the ongoing crisis. Humanity United provided project support to Darfur/Darfur.

Dream for Darfur Campaign
Dream for Darfur is an advocacy and media campaign that leverages the 2008 Beijing Olympics to activate the Chinese government’s influential role in bringing security to Darfur. Humanity United supported the launch of the campaign, which links China to the Darfur crisis and urges the Chinese government’s intervention.

ENOUGH Project
A project of the Center for American Progress, ENOUGH is a policy and advocacy organization working to help build a permanent constituency focused on preventing genocide and crimes against humanity. Humanity United supported the launch and supports the operations of the ENOUGH Project.

Evangelicals for Darfur
Evangelicals for Darfur is a media and advocacy campaign to bring together the voices of evangelical Christians to call for an end to the crisis in Darfur. Humanity United helped support the formation of the campaign, founded by Sojourners in partnership with the Save Darfur Coalition.

Feinstein International Famine Center, Tufts University
The Feinstein Center conducts field-based research in complex emergency environments to develop and promote policies that protect and strengthen vulnerable communities. Humanity United supports the Center’s efforts to strengthen connections and education between multi-lateral institutions, non-governmental organizations, academics, researchers, and civil society organizations in Africa.

Free the Slaves (FTS)
FTS takes a multi-pronged approach to eradicating modern-day slavery by supporting grassroots organizations, facilitating the sharing of information among local movements, raising public awareness, promoting slave-free trade in the private sector, and developing research initiatives. Humanity United partnered with FTS to develop a comprehensive plan to end slavery and supported a 2006 FTS convening of anti-slavery organizations in India.
