Nobel Women’s Initiative (NWI)
NWI is an international advocacy organization bringing together the extraordinary experiences of six women Nobel Peace Prize recipients. Humanity United provided support to develop and expand its Darfur advocacy program.

Not for Sale
The Not for Sale campaign combines technology, intellectual capital, abolitionist groups, and a growing network of individuals joined together to end slavery in our lifetime. Humanity United supports organizational development to strengthen the campaign’s anti-slavery programs and activities.

Open Society Justice Initiative (OSJI)
OSJI, an operational program of the Open Society Institute, pursues law reform activities that protect human rights and contribute to the development of legal capacity. Humanity United provided project support to OSJI and its partner, the International Legal Assistance Consortium, to coordinate an assessment of the Rwandan justice system and develop implementation recommendations.

Physicians for Human Rights (PHR)
PHR mobilizes the health professions to advance the health and dignity of all people by protecting human rights. PHR’s Darfur Survival and Humanity United partnered for an in-depth investigation into sexual violence committed against Darfuri women in Chad.

Polaris Project
Polaris Project’s core program strategies include national policy advocacy, a national human trafficking resource center, and provision of training and technical assistance. These core areas are supported and informed by auxiliary programs to provide client services and mass communications. Humanity United provides core funding to Polaris Project.

Resolve Uganda
Resolve Uganda is a grassroots campaign working to bring policymakers’ attention to the crisis in northern Uganda. Humanity United helped to support the campaign’s 2008 Lobby Day for northern Uganda.

RugMark
RugMark recruits carpet producers and importers to make and sell carpets without illegal child labor. Manufacturers who adhere to RugMark’s labor guidelines earn the right to use the RugMark certification label on their carpets. Humanity United supports RugMark’s Young Heroes tour, and organizational development and expansion.
