Lori Bishop is a director on the Investments team. Her work focuses on developing and supporting relationships in the human freedom portfolio, with an emphasis on corporate engagement and supply chains initiatives. Prior to Humanity United, Lori worked on economic analysis, monitoring, and impact evaluation for the Millennium Challenge Corporation. Lori also has experience with issues of decentralization and local governance through her past work with the Urban Institute, the Carter Center, and the Office of the High Representative in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina.
 
Lori’s career started as a Peace Corps volunteer in Togo, focusing on women’s microcredit collectives, small-business development, and alternative education for girls. She is a graduate of Emory University and the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
